JPRI - Publications

JPRI publishes scholarly and journalistic works, in a variety of formats, on Japan and the Pacific Rim.

In addition to printed books, journals, and reports, JPRI's online content is organized into the following categories:

"Working Papers" are research-based articles.

"Critiques and Reviews" include a broad range of shorter works, such as policy commentaries and book/film reviews.

"Essays and Occasional Papers" include writings such as memoirs and essays that do not fit the above categories.

Anyone wishing to submit a manuscript for consideration by JPRI should contact the JPRI director.
